The studio apartment is situated in a building with 6 floors that was built in the 1920. It is a walk-up, meaning that there is no elevator. This Upper West Side studio is furnished with two double-size beds which gives you the opportunity to share the apartment with the roommate of your choice. You can enjoy watching cable TV series on the flat screen or find the best deals via Wi-Fi internet. You can also have a cup of tea or make a sandwich with the kitchen equipment (electric stove top, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and small fridge). The building is located on Central Park West and 103rd Street, a block away from the Park where there is much to discover, such as statues and monuments (Albert Bertel Thorvaldsen, J. Marion Sims, John Purroy Mitchell), the flora (The Loch, The Pool) and NYC historical sights (The Blockhouse, McGownPass, Nutters Battery Site). However, if you prefer a day of shopping, you can stroll down Broadway and find numerous stores from brands like Brooklyn Industries or Urban Outfitters or little-known boutiques. All these Upper West Side attractions are walking distance from the apartment but if you want to discover the rest of Manhattan or the outer boroughs, New York has an extended transit system. You can access the B / C subway lines at 103rd Street/Central Park West or the 1 line at the Broadway/103rd Street station. Please note that due to its location, some noise can be heard in the apartment at times.
