Hi, we live in Peter Cooper Village and are relocating so are looking for someone to assign our lease to. This would be an official sublease / lease assignment through the landlord, so the new tenant would take over our lease.
- Apt is fully furnished, so we strongly prefer a tenant that will buy the existing furnishings for ~$8k. Potentially we could consider someone who wanted the place unfurnished.
- Sublease would start 7/1/23
- Current lease end date is 9/2/23, however, the new tenant could choose to renew at that point for only ~3% increase in rent (rent controlled apt).
- Rent is $5,165, including utilities (water, gas, electric)
- 2 BR 2 BA, 1211 sqft
- South facing with large windows and great light overlooking a playground.
