Property Details

Long Island City is the most thriving area of the city, with plenty of space to walk around, options to eat, bars, yet very safe, comfortable to walk around and open.

This is a 3-bedroom apartment with two full bathrooms in a NEW building, which opened in 2022, we are the first tenants of this specific apartment since May 2023. We are very happy here but unfortunately we have to move as our kids' new school is too far away for them to commute.

Absolutely breathtaking views of Manhattan. Main bedroom fits a king size bed and the other two bed rooms are very roomy too. Fully functioning kitchen with dishwasher and full sized fridge, oven, etc, and a washer-dryer. Closets in every room plus in the hallways. The maintenance team are great, any minor technical or maintenance issues have been addressed within hours.

Lease end date for the current contract is fixed to 30 April 2025 (renewable) but a start date different than 1 May 2024 could be discussed.

Full Gym (weights, treadmills, bicycles, ellipticals, etc), 12th floor terrace/bbq space, 34th floor terrace in the next building, co-working space and lounge (with pool and ping pong tables) are all available for a monthly fee of $75 for the first tenant, $50 for the second one. Parking (paying) is possible. Bicycle storage is available and a locker is possible with a fee.

Several transport options available, my preferred one being the East River ferry line, which crosses to the 34th street ferry within minutes and goes on to Brooklyn and downtown. Grand Central is one subway stop away and the Subway's 7 line is some 10 minutes walk away and there is a building shuttle mornings and evenings. Astoria ferry line (to Astoria, Roosevelt Island and 90th street) is 15 minutes walk away.

We plan to take the furniture as we bought it all when moving in but we can always discuss if the new tenant wants to keep some of it, particularly the sofa, dining table and chairs, TV furniture, TV.

Kids moving to a new school too far to commute to.
