The building and area are very pet friendly. There is a tenant-only dog area in the building's courtyard, and there are several public dog runs within walking distance as well. I am a monthly member at Pawsies, the dog day-care around the corner. My dog has been going there every day I go into the office for years, and we've always had a great experience.
For more information about the building or the floorplan for this apartment, you can find it if you search for The Rheingold in Bushwick online.
Note: There are two small discrepancies between the floor plan you can find online and reality:
1. The apartment number is listed as 853 on the website and 852 in real life.
2. The floor plan shows a wall (making this unit a 1-bedroom) which doesn't actually exist. I vaguely recall when I moved in in 2021, they offered to build an additional wall there, but I opted not to do so in favor of an open floor plan. It's possible management may still be willing to do this, but I haven't asked.
Personal Reasons
If interested, I would consider selling the new tenant some of the furniture at a discount.
