I'm looking for a female roommate for a lease takeover for my roommate starting in July 2, 2025 at the earliest (flexible start date) to July 1, 2026. Your portion of the rent would be $2,710.
The unit is east facing (but not street facing) and on the 16th floor near Lexington Avenue and 31st Street. The unit is a flexed two bedroom and you would be using the flexed room. The two rooms are pretty identical in size but the flexed room doesn't come with a closet so the closet in the hallway is all yours. The rent is adjusted to account for one room being a flexed room ($2710 vs. $2860).
There is a washer and dryer on each floor, which are almost always available.
Windsor Court is a beautifully-maintained building. It has a doorman, front desk, mailroom, and a gym with a swimming pool. It is a 3 minute walk to the 6 train and 2 minute walk to Trader Joe’s, a 8 minute walk to Target. Honestly a very well-maintained building and I love living here!
Reasons for leaving
My roommate is moving in with her boyfriend.
Additional fee
There is a $750 lease assignment fee to the management office, which I'm happy to split.
