We are on sabbatical for the 2025/26 academic year and so the apartment is available to sublet from July 25, 2025 until May or June 2026 (with some flexibility on start/end dates).
It is a new building built in 2019, with all modern amenities. It has two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms, and its own private porch/balcony.
The kitchen has new fridge/stove/dishwasher. There is a laundry washer and dryer in the basement (operated via an app on your phone).
The apartment is located between Prospect Heights and Crown Heights in Brooklyn, which we love. There are great groceries stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, schools, playgrounds, botanical gardens, Brooklyn Museum and the enormous prospect park, all walking distance away.
We can leave some furniture if it will be helpful- such as the couch, side table, one desk in the main area and the desk and shelf unit in the single bedroom, the bookshelf in that room, the dining room with the six chairs, the bunk bed, the main queen bed, some plates/cups/mugs/cutlery, some pots, pans, kitchen appliances (slow cooker, blender, toaster, toaster oven).
The tenant would pay rent directly to the landlord, and apply through the landlord’s link (Proof of ID/Proof of income/Proof of prior rent payment if applicable/Proof of bank statement). We can swap over the electricity and internet to the tenant’s name for a year.
