33 M looking for roommate to fill BR in a 2BR/1BA apt on E 84th St between 2nd and 3rd Ave for 1 year lease
· $1675/mo + splitting electricity and internet
· 8/1 move in
More details below:
I am looking for a roommate to fill the BR opening in my apartment in the UES. The apartment is a 2BR/1BA on E 84th St between 2nd and 3rd Ave. It’s a top floor apartment, so it gets great sun and minimal noise. Nice living room and kitchen space. Typical bathroom. Elevator building. No laundry in the building. No dishwasher.
Available 8/1 or later, and you would apply to be on the lease for the year through the management company website. Easy application process with $20 fee, typical income documents required. $1675/mo for the room + splitting the electric and internet, which are under my name.
The current pics provided of the bedroom is how it was set up when I was in it. I now have the other bedroom (not pictured). The room will be empty for your move in. As you can see, the room fits a Queen bed and several other items of furniture/storage and a desk. The room has a window with AC unit already installed. Big closet with overhead storage as well. Also pictured – drawing of the bedroom dimensions, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and entryway. The living room pic is old, there is now a 65 inch tv mounted on the wall.
About me: I am 33 M. Very focused on my career as a therapist. I work entirely from home taking my appointments from my room. I keep things clean and tidy. I go to the gym pretty much every day. At home in my free-time I am mostly gaming in my room, reading, or watching some TV. I love to play music, such as my record collection or some guitar playing and singing, but I will always keep it respectful of you. I also have a wonderful cat. She is very chill and won’t bother you at all. But if you want to bother her with some love, that’s much appreciated. No other pets, please.
Open to answering any questions you may have. Thanks for your time and looking forward to hearing from you. - John
