Looking for someone to take over my lease for a private bedroom in a 2 bed / 1 bath apartment in Downtown Brooklyn.

🗓️ Available: Early August
📆 Lease Term: Through June 30, 2026 (option to renew) - earlier date is negotiable
💰 Rent: $2,200/month
🏙️ Location: Downtown Brooklyn — prime location with easy access to subways (A/C/F/R/2/3/4/5)

🪑 Furnished Option:
Apartment can come furnished or unfurnished. Furnished would have a discounted fee and includes a queen bed (w bed frame), lamp, large desk and chair. Also, the white shelf you see in the back was provided by building management, so it can easily be taken out.

Roommate Info:
Your roommate, Francisco, is a 23 yr old working as an analyst in Manhattan. He will be in office Tuesday through Thursday. He's clean and responsible, and I've never had any issues with him. Outside of work, he likes biking, sports, streetwear, and gaming.

Lease takeover handled through building management. Application and standard approval required.

Application Fee: $20
Application will likely require:

1. Valid Government issued Photo ID (Drivers License, Passport)

2. Most recent tax returns, Form-1040 first 2 pages only please, (or W2 if Full time, or multiple 1099 if freelancing)

3. Three most recent pay stubs (if you have started a new job, please include an Offer Letter stating salary, and start date)

4. Past two months of full bank statements (checking and savings)

5. If applicable: Any assets (investments, etc.) that show additional income generated

6. Proof of past 12 rent payments (This is very important, do not skip), and landlord reference Letter if you can get one. (12 rent proofs should be: Either a management portal record/statement, screenshots of rent payments from your bank statements, or screenshots of Venmo or other method of payment you’ve used to pay rent). Please transfer screenshots to PDF format.
