Hello potential neighbor! I'm subletting my current room in a Penthouse Duplex (Private Bath + Patio) because I'm moving to the apartment right across the hall from this one. This means I'll be around if you need any help moving in :)

Where: E 32nd & 2nd Ave (Murray Hill / Kips Bay)

When: Oct 1 – Nov 30 (2 months)

Rent: $3,000/mo. Internet included; electric split ≈ $100/person.

The Space: Minimally furnished (desk, chair, bed) upstairs bedroom (~170 square feet) in a 2BR/2BA penthouse duplex. Private bathroom. In-building laundry, elevator, private patio (exclusive to the unit). Pretty unbeatable natural lighting with tons of south-facing windows.

Option after: You can renew the lease for the entire 2BR starting Dec 1 at $6,000/mo (you'll need a new housemate though).

Qualifications: Income ≥ $120k to qualify.

Transit: 6 train @ 33 St (~8–10 min), M15 SBS, and M34 SBS nearby.

Housemate: 31 year old male downstairs, WFH on Fridays.
